Kuroshitsuji 3rd Musical: Lycoris that Blazes the Earth

A musical adaptation of popular anime and manga series, Kuroshitsuji – Lycoris that Blazes the Earth, will be performing at the Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall in Osaka from November 7 to 10, at Natori Performing Arts Center in Miyagi from November 14 to 15, at Akasaka ACT Theater in Tokyo from November 21 to 29, and at Canal City Theater in Fukuoka from December 4 to 6.

It will also make its way to China at the Shanghai Art Theatre on December 11 to 13, at Beijing Exhibition Center Theater on the 18th to the 20th, and at Shenzhen Poly Theater on from the 25th to the 27th.

This adaptation follows the manga’s popular “Jack the Ripper” arc and will have the following cast:

• Matsushita Yuya as Sebastian Michaelis
• Fukuzaki Nayuta as Ciel Phantomhive
• Uehara Takuya as Grell Sutcliff
• Ota Motohiro as Charles Grey
• Terasaki Yuka as Meirin
• Izumi Shuhei as the Undertaker

I very much like the overall look of the cast members of this musical! Although, I still find musical adaptations to be a little strange, it apparently has a good fan base as this is already the 3rd musical, and it will be making its way to China!

Has anyone here ever seen a musical adaptation before? Is it any good?

Kuroshitsuji: Undertaker 03

During the Green Witch Arc, Undertaker visited Baron Diedrich, telling him that he had something to do in France and decided to pay him a visit. He notes that they have not met since Vincent Phantomhive’s funeral, and wonders out loud if that is the reason why Diedrich does not visit England often or if he’s too weighty. Undertaker laughs and offers to make a custom-made coffin for Diedrich, as he would not fit in regular ones, but Diedrich refuses.

Meet Japanese cosplayer Tsuitachi Yoru –Sakuya- (朔夜-Sakuya-)! I’m not sure if she has any other websites at the moment, but her Twitter is full of amazing photos, so please follow her! Thanks to Misaki for sending this in!

Kuroshitsuji: Ciel Phantomhive 19

In the 17th episode of the anime’s first season, Ciel is tasked with disbanding a cult suspected of planning to revolt against the government. The cult had taken over some abandoned convents and obtained the Book of Doomsday, said to contain the record of human’s virtues and evil doings. The book is said to even record the future, but only the chosen children of the Heaven’s Choir can read it. In order to get close to the priest, Ciel decides to become part of the Heaven’s Choir and investigate the matter.

I honestly love this choir gown on Ciel. I never thought it would be possible to wear with that sash across his shoulders, but Chinese cosplayer, Blood Cat has proven me wrong! As usual, please support her thru her websites: Cure, Weibo, and World Cosplay! Thanks to Tara for sending this in!
